No Holds Barred

The Digital Detox week has worked wonders. It wasn't even that hard to stop myself from being distracted all the time. I think lots of stuff is very interesting, and internet has a lot to offer for curious people like myself. The benifits of web 2.0, the social side of internet and the platform it offers to show my work are amazing and we're just at the beginning of it. It doesn't matter how we will be able to supply power for the millions of servers and computers, i'm sure the internet will be top priority as it is for me and my work. But spending my life behind a desk, staring at a computer screen, thinking about what i'll look up next, is not a life i want to live. I want to get out in to the world and learn things at first hand.
The best thing about the digital detox is i have seriousley started investing again in the 'analogue' arts, drawing in particular. It's a completely different proces than working with digital media. It's odd for me to feel i discoverd that because i should know that! I have been drawing for years. But somehow an accumulation of limitations started to appear, blocking my ability to work freely. Now, it is like my drawing-hand has a life of it's own again, and it's my job to simply observe what it creates, while creating it. That's why the subject is "No Holds Barred". Just go for it, there are no rules. It can be a struggle sometimes but if you can learn to enjoy that, who needs internet? What isn't possible?
Below you will find a small selection of the works i made last week. I hope you enjoy them as much as i did creating them.
